A few years ago the only people who
hired coaches were large corporate companies in order to get more out of their

coaching.

Most life coaches coach by telephone
and therefore it can be done from the comfort
of your own home. Clients are
asked to call you at a set time and so you don’t even have to pay the cost of
the phone call. In other words it is a highly profitable business with negligible overheads.
The average life coach will charge
$80 - $120 (£40-£60) for a 45 minute session.
So let’s do some quick calculations.
If you charge $100 (£50) per 45 minute session (and after a bit of
experience there is no reason why not) you could earn $200,000 (£100,000) per annum for working a five day week. Remember, that’s from the comfort of your own
home and with little or no overheads.
To begin with you might charge a
little less, but even then $100,000 (£50,000) per annum should be achievable.
Now you might be
wondering, doesn’t it require a qualification to become a life coach? NO! Absolutely not. Yes, you can get them by taking a whole
manner of courses available on the internet, but you do not need them and it most certainly does not make you a
better life coach.
You could be earning a great salary for
doing an average days work, five days a week. All from the comfort of your own home. It is possible and people are doing it. What they can do,
so can you! Remember, all you need is the will, the knowledge and then
the commitment to see it through. Oh and a telephone and some stationery!
It really is that simple.
People will be very grateful to pay you a good wage just to sit there and
listen to them. There is nothing people like to do more than to talk to
other people about their problems, their hopes, their aspirations, their
worries and their dreams. We all love it when someone sits down and
really listens to what we have to say don't we? Be honest, it is great to
indulge in yourself isn't it!?
So life coaching is fulfilling a natural need. With increasing demands on all our lives there is increasing demand for life coaches.
